A letter from Signature owner Grant Neiss

Grant NeissI didn’t start out wanting to own my own window company.  In fact, I spent years working for a vinyl window manufacturing company.

But there was a problem.

I started to notice that many of the windows we were installing were suffering from frame damage due to flaws in the manufacturing process and the materials used.

The problem was made even worse by lousy installation.  The worst part was that the manufacturing company was unwilling to address the issues!  It became a cycle of madness.  The installer would tell the client to call the manufacturer; the manufacturer would tell them to call the installer.  To add insult to injury, the manufacturer often outright refused to honor their warranty due to “faulty installation.”

Being a classic “Type A” personality, I couldn’t ignore this.  So, I left my lucrative career and started Signature Windows in 1999.  It was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made.

You see, I am a firm believer in always taking care of my customers.  I will do whatever it takes to make sure they are happy and that they get what they paid for: windows and doors that work as promised.

My clients loved it!  So did my employees.  They love the fact that we are a company of integrity and that we stand behind our products and installation 100%. It’s just one of the reasons we have people that have been with Signature since the day we opened.

In 2001, Randy Lucas joined the team as my business partner. Together, we decided to focus our efforts on building the very best window and door company in the Seattle area.  This single focus has enabled us to receive the Angie’s List Super Service Award for 10 years in a row (2007-2016) – so far!

That search led us to Marvin Window & Door.  They’ve been making quality products for over a hundred years.  We believe that their Infinity fiberglass replacement windows are the highest quality windows on the market today.  That’s why we’re proud to be the Regional Exclusive Dealer for Marvin Infinity.

By adding Marvin Infinity to our product offerings, we can confidently say that we offer the best products, the best service, and the best installation.  It’s because we’re committed to always taking care of our customers.

That’s the Signature difference.

Sincerely,

Grant Neiss
