Do You Have A Project We Can Help With?
Signature Window & Door Replacement has been serving Puget Sound Region homeowners since 1999. We have set ourselves apart by acting with integrity and focusing on three critical areas of service: High-quality windows and doors, craftsman-level installation, and our lifetime installation warranty.
Award-Winning Windows & Doors
After 20 years as business owners and more than 30 years each in the window and door industry, Grant Neiss and Randy Lucas have seen a lot of different brands’ performance close-up. Our philosophy used to be Don’t be sold a window – Select! We carried everything, so homeowners had a full range of choices. Over time, we parted ways with brands whose performance failed to live up to the standards we insist on providing our customers.
In the relatively recent past, we represented the top-quality brands in a range of materials. We wanted to continue to offer our customers as many choices as possible.
But they say When you know better, do better. In 2019, we realized that we were not actually doing the best by our customers by continuing to offer vinyl. In fact, we came to realize we were harming our customers and community by providing vinyl as an option.
As of 2020, we will no longer sell vinyl. We have narrowed our product offerings to brands and materials that provide the best outcome for our customers and community.
For windows, French doors, and patio doors, we offer Marvin Infinity fiberglass. Marvin Infinity is the highest quality replacement window on the market. They are durable, beautiful, come in a myriad of options – including ebony black and bronze exteriors and interiors! – and are the healthiest window for our bodies and the environment. The EverWood option looks and feels like wood but doesn’t require the maintenance or suffer rot as wood does.
Infinity fiberglass is crafted from Ultrex®, Infinity’s proprietary fiberglass product.
- Ultrex® is 8x stronger than vinyl and more than 3x stronger than vinyl/wood pulp composite Fibrex®.
- Ultrex® expands and contracts at virtually the same rate as glass. Compare expansion rates:
- Ultrex® 0.4
- Glass 0.6
- Aluminum 1.3
- Vinyl/wood pulp composite Fibrex® 1.6
- Vinyl 4.0
Because of these near-identical expansion rates (Ultrex® 0.4, glass 0.6), your Infinity windows will resist seal failure, leaks, and stress cracks.
Note: Fibrex® is a registered trademark of Andersen Corporation.
